The essence of any creative art BEYOND a supposedly three-dimensional reality🎨💫

"More than almost any other European, Eugen Herrigel immersed himself in the spirit and practice of Zen not only intellectually, but also through his own experience. With his world-famous "Zen in the Art of Archery", he created a standard work of Western Zen literature, the reading of which has become a key experience for countless artists, intellectuals and seekers on the spiritual path.

Eugen Herrigel worked as a philosophy professor in Japan in the 1920s and began intensive training in the art of archery with the Shado master Awa in 1926. In his book of the same name, Herrigel describes an experience that would change his life forever. It is an authentic account that reveals more about the Japanese mentality and the training of the mind than a purely informative travel guide ever could. It conveys in a unique way what Zen practice is all about.

"Eugen Herrigel was one of the very few non-Japanese who understood the essence of Zen. His writings are able to familiarise the Western reader with that strange and seemingly inaccessible kind of Eastern experience that we call 'Zen'."

Essentially, this is my very own VISUAL perception of reality BEYOND our supposedly three-dimensional world (according to the current state of physics, there are at least 11 dimensions, link to M-theory here) and also the essence of my teaching since 2010 in the Master's programme for Design and Product Management at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
