The creative act BEYOND duality & time🎻💫
Our SELF accesses an external source when we are able to dwell in the HERE & NOW, in the FLOW of highly creative inspirations. Our very rudimentary, dual-thinking brain is largely uninvolved in this, as Rick Rubin also emphasises in his brilliant book "The Creative Act".
In 2022, I spoke with Vicente Amigo, probably the best Spanish guitarist since the death of Paco de Lucía, on the subject of "The creative act beyond duality and time". Vicente Amigo also confirmed that the creative act of music does not come from his dual-thinking brain. Rather, he looks into himself with his eyes closed (see Bolero a los padres), turns his 5 senses inwards, humbly surrenders to his SELF, feels this connected centre of gravity in the area of his solar plexus and receives his creative inspirations from an external source of music BEYOND the separating duality and presumably also beyond time.
At Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, I have been teaching "Inspirations BEYOND Dual Thinking" to designers as part of the Design & Product Management Master's programme for more than a decade. I inspire these young people on how they can strategically optimise their "circular life path“ (see Gregory Batson in particular) and move from their dual, separate, unreal "I"-thought to their connected "SELF". Why? Because our SELF accesses an external source when we are able to dwell in the HERE & NOW, in the FLOW of highly creative inspirations. Our very rudimentary, dual-thinking brain is largely uninvolved in this, as Rick Rubin also emphasises in his brilliant book "The Creative Act" with many examples of creative achievements. In 2007, Rick Rubin was called "the most important producer of the last 20 years" by MTV and was named on Time's list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World".
At the beginning of my teaching assignment, the head of the Master's programme told me that a good designer SEES how the design of an object - "supposedly" separate from him (e.g. an iPhone) - FLOWS into the future and changes. That's why he wanted me to teach his students the essence of nonduality - embedded in advanced facets of strategic marketing. And why? Because my special gift as a business coach is that I experience everything VISUALLY, beyond duality & time.

This post is the result of an inner image and a dialectical exchange between Hansjörg and an AI (=> for reference purposes only).
